PROGRAM

CHALLENGE FABRIC FASHION SHOW

From challenge fabric, NWA designers will present garments made from these selected challenge fabrics.

HOW DO WE FIND A TITLE?

Our own Emma Allebes will help us with this problem.  Hers are always so clever and she’ll let us know how she does it.  This program will help you title your Challenge garments which are also due at this meeting.

LUNCHEON

1 – Bring a luncheon item – make it enough to share (serving size and serving spoon) of a fruit, bean, couscous, lentil or whatever salad) or cold cuts, assorted cheese, crackers / bread, etc. – NO DESERTS NEEDED!

2 - Lemonade, ice water, zinger iced tea provided.  If you want something else, please feel free to bring whatever you would prefer.

3 - Plates, napkins, utensils, cold drink cups provided.

SALE TABLE

Please continue to bring your trash, as you know it will be someone else’s treasure!  We all love to get in to each other’s stashes and make off with the goodies.  And it keeps our Treasurer very happy as a fund raiser for NWA.

Nov. 17, 2007 – A Quilted Heart, Vacaville – sharing holiday themed clothing – it can be any holiday.  If you are working with a difficult fabric, you can talk about how you have handled it.

Jan. 19, 2008 – J. R. Flamingo, Sacramento – Mary Hammett with talk about and show us how to make spiraling stripes.

March 15, 2008 - A Quilted Heart, Vacaville – Show our wearable denim art, then and now.  More details later

May 17, 2008 - J. R. Flamingo, Sacramento – on the patio, something messy

Meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of Jan, March, May,  July, Sept. and November.  Please look for the meeting announcement for beginning time – usually at 10:30 AM or 11:00 AM  Guests are welcome at all meetings.  After 2 free meetings, we will ask our new friends to join the Network.  Dues are $30 per year.
