Last Saturday, Wearable art members gathered at JR Flamingo in Sacramento to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the Network For Wearable Art, organized in 1989, in Napa CA.  For this meeting, members challenged each other to make wearables from denim.  (images follow)

Officers were elected for 2008-2009.  Our next meeting will be Saturday, 15 November 2008 at the Quilted Heart in Vacaville CA, beginning at 10:30 am.

I wanted to mention two other wearable art groups in California: 

• The Wearable Art Connection (WAC) from Southern California, current president is President: Jeananne Coop.
• Peninsula Wearable Art Group  (PENWAG) in South Bay CA has a robust schedule of upcoming, well-known teachers, along with workshops.
